STEP 4: Set Student Access Properties

Set the properties for your new course here. You can decide if you want to make the course available to students immediately (most instructors do) and if you want to require a course password (most instructors don't).

Click on Continue at the bottom of the page.

Note: Some instructors will choose not to make the course available to students so they can customize it completely before students are able to log in. This is a good idea if you plan to do a lot of customization on your course.

Once the course is ready, instructors should visit Course Settings and make their course available to students.

Requiring a Course Password provides an extra level of security. Some instructors use this to make sure only their students register for their MyiZoneLab course.
